THE GREEN GATE ARE THE EVENT SPONSORS FOR THIS YEARS FANCY DRESS FUN RUN. THE FUN RUN STARTS AT 1PM ON SUNDAY 30TH AUGUST AT THE GREEN GATE INN, CAISTER. THE EVENT IS ONE OF THE FEW CHANCES WE HAVE TO RAISE MONEY AND PLAYER SUPPORT IS HIGHLY EXPECTED. THIS SORT OF THING HELPS KEEP YOUR CLUB GOING SO GET YOUR OUTFITS SORTED GET SOME SPONSORS AND GET DOWN THE GREEN GATE FOR MORE OF A PUB CRAWL THAN A RUN!!! WE RUN FROM PUB TO PUB WITH OUR BUCKET FOR DONATIONS THEN AFTERWARDS THE GREEN GATE IS PUTTING ON A BBQ IN THEIR GARDEN. DON'T LET THE SAME FEW FACES RAISE MONEY FOR CAISTER....DO YOUR BIT! Calling Linesman and Physio's (14/03/2008)

There are vacancies for a club Linesman and a Club Physio at Caister FC. We have 5 adult sides and the additional support of these 2 positions will boast the clubs status. We have a friendly social atmosphere and anybody filling these positions for us would be made most welcome in all of our dressing rooms. A token Payment and expences will be made weekly for both positions.

Sponsorship Opportunities (14/03/2008)

The club is seeking match and matchball sponsors; this can be businesses, individuals or groups. Match sponsorship is from £60, matchball sponsorship is £30. Player sponsorship is also available should you wish to support an individual. If you are a company, business or individual who would like to help the Lifeboatmen through these or other forms of sponsorship/advertising, please contact the club via any of the committee members (details on the site) who will be pleased to discuss ways with you or click on "Contact Us" and send us a note, which will be replied to ASAP. Centenary Events Calendar (04/02/2008)

As this year is Caister Football Club's Centenary we are holding lots of events. Put a note in your diaries for these dates in 2008. Your help with any will be more than appreciated.

Bank Holiday May 5th:
Caister FC vs Norwich City Legends KO 12pm.
Followed by a BBQ at the Green Gate.
(Billy Humphreys, Jim Crawley and Ian Green are picking a side represented by the whole club)

Friday May 16th:
Presentation Night. Venue to be announced.

Sunday June 8th:
Family Fun Day at Allendale Road.
Bouncy Castle, Stalls, Games, Entertainment and BBQ.

Sunday June 29th:
Carnival Float and Stall. Ideas and volunteers are welcome anytime.

Sunday July 27th:
Annual 7-A-Side Tournament.

Friday 15th August:
Caister FC Golf Day c/w meal.
Followed by a BBQ at the Green Gate.

Sunday 17th August:
Sponsored 5K Fancy Dress Fun Run. (all welcome was a good day last year). Followed by all dat BBQ at the Green Gate.

Thursday 25th September:
Formal Centenary Celebration. Ron Atkinson Guest Speaker Evening.(see club news)

Sunday October 12th:
Sponsored Walk. The Old Favorite continues starting at the Kings Head in Hemsby and Finishing at the Green Gate.

Saturday December 20th:
Caister FC Christmas Party. All ages.

Training.... (13/09/2007)

Training Is on Thursday nights at Cliff Park High on the 3G surface from 7:30pm till 9pm. Please meet at the entrance to the pitch at 7:30pm sharp.
Attendance at training has been good (25 to 35) under the supervision of Adam Mason and Scott Hansell there have been some varied drills and activities. With the good lighting and surface at Cliff Park this is expected to only get better. All 5 adult sides are expected to train on this club night as it is not only a chance to improve fitness and technique but also is a chance for players to get together and address issues from the previous weekend. Any new players potentially wanting to sign for the club are also always welcome. We look forward to seeing you.
