Caister Reserves welcomed run away league leaders Norwich CEYMS to Allendale Road hoping to give a good account of themselves with a strong side. CEYMS showed right from the first whistle why they are top of the league playing excellent football from start to finish. The Caister supporters found themselves applauding the pass and move football that the young side were producing. CEYMS took a comfortable 2-0 lead into half time and Caister looked glad to hear the half time whistle to get a rest. In the second half Caister reverted to their more familiar formation of 4-4-2 and in doing so looked more comfortable. Despite showing an improved attitude in the second half Caister were unable to break the deadlock for the first time this season. CEYMS produced 2 more good goals to seal a 4-0 victory. Caister shouldn’t feel too down hearted as this was their biggest defeat of the Season and CEYMS were a quality side. Caister won’t come across a better side all season so we need to get our heads up and stick together. Caister have a good opportunity to regain some confidence this week as they travel to Mattishall Reserves.
