Holt United 0

Caister entertained Holt at Allendale Road looking to bounce back from last weeks result. Captain Turner returned to the side and but for an impressive save from the Holt keeper would have opened the scoring from a header. The first goal came from the head of Bennett after a good run and cross from Nicky Crawley.
Holt rarely threatened in open play, long throws and set pieces seemed the home sides only danger. Nicky Crawley had a chance to extend the lead early in the second half but his shot was saved. Caister's back four of Gislam, Turner, Corke and Matt Crawley were up to the task of dealing with the long throws and set pieces of the visitors and with keeper Newby having an excellent game talking and commanding his box well.
The killer second goal arrived with 20 minutes remaining, a fumble from the holt keeper allowed Nicky Crawley to poke home. Subs Barry Crane and Houghton came on for Anton Ward and Bennett to sure up the result and Caister saw out the game for a 2-0 win, taking it to 4 wins from 5 games under the new regime, next week home to Stalham 1.15pm meet for 2.30pm kick off.
